4 Points for an away win

Getting vaguely back on-topic... 4 points for a win is a fking stupid idea. If they were serious about making the Premiership more competitive, they'd introduce a wage cap. They won't, though.

I thought that idea died a death with the Conference's short-lived experiment with 3 points for an away win and 2 for a home win in the eighties.

 

One season the league was won by a team who would not have won it under either 2 points or 3 points for a win but sneaked through under the 2/3 system. I think it may have been Wealdstone.

I deffo think there should be a "floating" point which should be awarded to the side with the best fans - judged by best song, most noise, how many pints consumed before the game etc.
