This might freshen things up abit. There does seem to a trend in the Premeirship for the boring 4-5-1 formation and going away and trying to bore a draw. If the stakes were higher .....

Do you think so? The emphasis for a team, when playing at home, is to go and attack. If they are not attacking, and quite rightly so, the home fans start to get browned off. On the otherhand if the reward for winning away from home is 4 points, then the away side have got a good incentive to try and actually win the game.

If teams are level on points, instead of goal difference, how about most away wins??

 

Though I can understand why West Ham will want four points for a win - with a 10-point deduction hanging over their heads before they even kick a ball next season, they'll need as much help as they can get!

Away wins won't really bother West Ham.

I think the bottom 3 last season mustered 1 away win between them all season.

I was reading somewhere that West Ham have crippling debt. It's probably rubbish, but a lot of the Hammers fans I know are less than happy with the current board.

 

As for finishing above Spurs, well it's highly possible. We tend to blow hot and cold, and it wouldn't surprise me if we struggle next season, especially with Robinson off to United and Ledders off to Arsenal.

More like Bradford Park Avenue or Milton Keynes Dons, Carlisle were in the top flight once as well.

Not sure. I've heard rumours that Jol is pissed off with him, but he's struggled with injury last season too.

The Hammers will struggle next season. I'm not 100% convinced by Pardew. In fairness we showed no consistancy all season and lost to some real crap at times. Only in the last few months did we play anything like we are capable of.
