Despite my new girlfriend Rose having to endure heckles like "More lights on Rose" and "Rose will you be my girlfriend" The Pipettes put on a stirling show last night and were superb. Also the previous band Louie were ace as well and I predict big things for them.

 

I bumped into a old mate and former band member last night (I went solo after writing the smash "What did you do on the day you sold out") and he was heard to say that it was the best gig he'd ever been to where he hadn't heard the bands music before. It was good to catch up as my Carter buddies let me down, they would of loved to come but couldn't afford it (even though it was free)

...and Rose drops her head in despair as Thornsy delivers the kiss of death to another up-and-coming band!!

Not quite sure The Pipettes have the universal appeal to make it, even though they are superb (that's number 1 for 16 weeks then <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

That was a well good gig last night. Looking forward to me and CZ going to watch Bransby on Thursday to. Should be a good laugh. A few beers in London beforehand.
