Hey CZ,

 

Do you remember that guy we used to hang around with ?(The one with the funny hair and NHS specs.)

 

Well, I guess you are wondering where he's been as he hasn't been around for a while. I actually bumped into him up in London last night. He's got himself a girlfriend who lives out near Wales apparently so he's been busy with her. I mentioned to him about the XFM night on Friday, but he doesn't think he'll be able to make it. Going shopping I think he said.

(Between you and me I think he's pretty under the thumb these days.)

As far as I know, yeah.

 

He made some new friends on the internet and just hasn't got time for his old ones anymore.

 

The really sad thing is I was in a band with him, and we now need to find a replacement for him in time for our August gig.

There's a young lad who goes on the Canvey and Hornchurch forums quite a lot who would be more than an adequate replacement as both band member and mate. Yellow is his name.

No, not at all.

 

Yellow's pretty knowledgable about music, and it's doubtful that he would wear a Joy Division t-shirt without knowing their music, or indeed a Stax Records t-shirt without knowing any of the artists.

I've heard that Art Brut 73 (Tommy Collins, Gertcha and Yellow, for those that don't know) are doing a cover of Echo Beach, that well-known Northern Soul classic, at their gig in August.
