As I've said before I'd like to see the old Athenian name resurrected if they do decide to combine the Essex and Kent leagues.

It used to include teams from both sides of the river.

Barking and Bromley for example and weren't Grays in it too at one time?.

I have said it before. The proudest I have ever seen Danny Boy was when someone produced an Orient programme with him on the front cover (I think it was against Burnley). He ahd never seen it before and it really made his birthday.

The best I saw Benno was the 95 minute equaliser at Slough, volley on the run after we had been mullered for most of the game.
