For those of us at a distance how did the work go today

It went well...very much a work in progress.

 

On Saturday, John R and Simon Williams had a go at the loose and dangerous bricks whilst Steve Unite and myself cleared the rubble (to the tune of "16 Tons").

 

Izzy, Emma and Adam painted the gallery ceiling...

 

Today Emma and myself put another coat on the ceiling and Steve Graham took the lino and the carprt up ready for the new carpet.

 

During the week a couple of us will be going down the club in the evenig to continue and finish off the painting in the gallery and do some other prep work for the floor and the new carpet.

 

Obviously we require more people to help and those that can, work will continue next weekend. I will be away and so will Mick and Ron but I believe that Steve will be there to let people in and continue the work.

Yeah, think of it, you'll be able to blame it on a mysterious brick that was lying on the pitch...

 

That or find an alternative to your leggo set...
