No more Phillips

just wondering why you arent going to be sonpsered by phillips next season?

Hi mikefleet.

 

Philips have been one of the main sponsors of the club, with their name on the shirts for the past two seasons. It was said that their name only appeared on PSV Eindhoven and The Mighty Saints shirts, in fact.

 

The initial connection was that our Chairman was a mate of one of the senior people at Philips UK and they 'did the deal'. The chap has since left Philips, and we understand and the company wouldn't renew the thing. Nothing sinister but it was just time to move on.

 

The new shirt sponsor is Bill Chippington Haulage which is the company of one of the other Board members.
