trying to get back to some football talk on this forum i thought id post about lastnights champions league game, if there ever was a point to make about never say die that was it, what a inspiring game to watch 3-0 down at half time you would think it was all done and dusted... all credit to liverpool just shows what can be achived if you never give up.

not being a follower of any prem footy team myself was glad to see a english team win, will be a game i shall be hard pressd to forget.

Legend, I thought it was absolutely marvellous, what a splendid evening's entertainment. At half time I felt so sorry for Liverpool, as the way AC were playing I thought that it might be a total walkover for them, and that would have been devastating for the scousers. But then the second half came along, and Gerrard's header - you could see him geeing everyone up afterwards, I think he could have dragged them through on his belief alone. I went a bit teary when he raised the cup. Fantastic.

Fantastic game of football that game reminds us why we love it so much be it the champions league final or the kent senior cup final.

Absolutely, Benjamin, and I was no less proud of our lads when we won our cup final. In fact, I thought a lot about that match when I was watching Liverpool last night.

I am a Margate fan primarily. However, i do also support Liverpool. At half-time i was adamant i wouldn't watch the 2nd half, but changed my mind about 3 minutes into the half. Gerrard scored and the rest, they say, is history. An astounding game of football. Arguably the best ever Champions League final? I was so proud of the boys, i was ecstatic at the end. Well done lads!

Ill admit that was a crazy game. When AC Milan went 3-0 ahead I pretty much gave up hope...its never happened before. When they came level, I knew they would win...it would have been horrible luck for Liverpool to fight back in such a manner then fall at the death.

 

Hope they are allowed to defend their title...its only fair that the champions defend their title.
