Is Danny McBreen worth £3,000 a week?

Recommended Posts

Hi Rob. Daniel McBreen.

Played up front for us in a couple fo pre-season friendlies. Eamsie appealed on here for an Estonian/English phrase book in order to complet release formalities from Athletico Estonia or some club out there. Falkirk beat us to it as their Secretary is multi-lingual, presumably.

Famous also as he had a bit of an 'attitude' on the pitch. Upset the visiting assistant manager from Charlton who thought that Macca and Dean Hooper were taking the game a little too seriously. Tavs reporting of several incidents in the game upset Gibbo, too.

He played in several of the friendlies and the club were chasing the release forms into the first couple of weeks of the season. He was intended to replace Steve 'The Merc' Ward. He might have been known to Chris Zoricich, as I recall.

I have a feeling that the referee asked Steve Castle to take him off in the Charlton game but it took 10 minutes or so for the sub. to get ready. Gibbo referred to Tav's match report, which should have made constant reference to Scott Parker gracing the greensward at the Fortress, rather than the level of physical contact, in his "£12,000" piece in the matchday programme.
