UU why don't we try and sign ......

Recommended Posts

It would be OUR luck to play you in the league and at least once in a cup match. Couldn't give a monkey's re the result (well sort of) but accumulative dosh gleaned from the entrance fees would pay for our season.. Gherkins come on down. Let's hope that them who arrange the ESL fixtures, use a bit of nous and let us play, Bank Holiday, Easter, Christmas.

I am sure this would suit both parties.

yes I agree with you....I am however having a little trouble sussing out the fixtures and how they are arranged....

do we for example ring you and say...

'g'day old chap...weather forecast is fine for saturday...hows about it'...

or do we await the pony express from the piss stained ones in the ivory tower and act accordingly...

Nah, spoke to the head honcho at Villa Park and he said there will be no problems with a whole season's fixtures in one hit.

In the past it has always been awkward with clubs various ground sharing so only monthly ones were supplied.

But, hopefully with Eton Manor still bedding down with Tilbury, things should be okay.

Plus the League cup will be in four groups of 4, with the Gordon Brasted trophy straight forward knockout.

hhhmmmm...so thats two trips to tilbury then....can't wait for that...last time we went there it ended up in a major 'john wayne' style bar room brawl....he he...quality it was an' all...

Danny Cowley was in the middle of it...I think he ended up with a broken hooter....

Thankfully it didn't affect is ability with the ball. No wonder he hardly heads the ball!

Not the nicest of places to visit especially if you fancy a light ale or two locally. It is a beer desert. Apart from that and Aveley (London ASDA), the rest offer a few good watering holes. Will keep you posted nearer the time.

appreciate that if you would as it is unknown territory for us....

and take no notice of all the feverish posts about us whinging about being here.....we would rather have stayed where we were but we are certainly going to enjoy it all the time we are here....and most of us understand full well how difficult this league will be regardless of budget...

but don't let the fckers know that....

orf to the pit now...catch you soon...

And Coup I have already posted the plea for some good days for our Urchin home and away on another ESL thread.

You're the first to complain when I duplicate yours.
