Blame the school

Recommended Posts

I'll tell you as you are just speaking out of your [****!!****], making incorrect statements.

(Hardly surprising I misread your post in the first place - genuine error, but keep picking up on it if that is all you can argue about.)

the last time the Local government had a tory majority was in 1990. By 1991 there was no overall control and they haven't had a majority since then.

I know your standard line is everything is the Tories fault, but it may be worth checking the facts once in a while before blaming them. Unless of course you do think it takes 15 years to change tings at a local government level.

For your info the current make up of the local coucil is Lib Dem 29, Con 17, Lab 11, Independent 1

It's quite funny these prisons are just a holiday camp thing, my brother was inside and he had access to quite a lot but never wants to go back and Jake hasn't access to anything and is locked up for 23 hours a day.
As for the internet, if it helps education than that's a good thing, rememeber a majority of people in prison were brought up by the type of people we want to sterilise so probably didn't have one. The problem is with society and the widening gap between rich and poor, something which has been getting worse over the last 20/30 years

At least you'll be able to keep in touch with this board when you get sent down for the firearm incident anyway. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

As for the widening gap between the rich and the poor, what do you expect if we live in a society where it is acceptable for 12 year olds to have kids and then live off benefits. How are they going to get educated ?

And in the next four years things will get much worse.
Probably for us honest hard working people who will get taxed even further to pay for benefits to underage mums and upgrades to prisons etc etc etc etc......

I think the "moral and social" decline of society is a relative thing, and it depends on how old you are. I remember when I was a kid, and my Grandma and Grandad banging on about the youth of today and how this sort of thing would have never happened in their day, and it's gonna get worse etc etc. When I was at secondary school there were girls getting pregant at early ages - I don't think it's a new thing. Rich OR poor teengers are going to have sex (but with the rich its probably with one of their relatives - you know how inbreed these people are).

The thing that depressed me most of all, was the fact that all three daughters had got pregnant and yet the mother seemingly takes no responsibility and blames it soley on the school. At the end of the day it's the three babies that will be born that I feel sorry for. Getting raised by children and an irresponsible Grandma. What kind of start in life is that?

It'd be interesting to see the percentages based on social status (there's probably a report somewhere) or "class" of girls who have babies under the age of 16. I would guess that the vast majority are "working class" and come from poor backgrounds. It was probably the same in Victorian times!!! Nothing changes. There is a big problem with the uneven distribution of wealth in this country, but there's also big ideological ones too. Stuff like respect (not respect for authority, but general respect for other people, their property and feelings etc), being responsible for ones own actions, accepting the status quo etc. Giving people loads of money doesn't really help, just look at some of those toss pots who have won the lottery. There is plenty of money in this country to invest in decent education for everybody, and create a first class infrastructure to establish a more equal soceity. They say that 80% percent of the country's wealth is owned by 5% of the population - I know where the real problem lies.
