Shame Grays won - they didn't look all that great, however. Won on penalties in front of an empty Holte End, and about 30 of their West Ham fans ran on the pitch at the end.

 

Stimson's still a git.

 

Battersby's running well considering he was at death's door when he took his money and ran from here.

 

And their keeper is a grade 1 nutcase.

Totally agree. Their fans running on the pitch in a showcase final is embarassing.

I feel the most sorry for Dean Barrick, the Hucknall manager. He broke both his fibula and Tibia in the challenge from cooper. He was in hospital overnight, and they were moving him this morning. You could see straight away that it was broken, and he seemed to be in a hell of a lot of pain.

 

Greg Smith in the Hucknall goal earned his much deserved man of the match award.
