I thought Grays had done enough to win - I dislike penalty shoot outs intensely - but was very surprised that Steve West did not take one.

 

Player of the match for me was the Hucknall GK and John Martin.

 

However I also felt that the Canvey side of the previous season is better than this season's Grays side, as they replied heavily on the famous five to win the league - I was interested to note that the commentator mentioned Matthews, West and Garry Hill, but usually in the context of Dagenham, rather than HFC.
