Don't start throwing unfounded accussions about Abbeyman.

 

We can all do that.Abbey fans treatening a disabled lad as we left your ground after the league game,not the mention the scores of other fans that had to run the guaunlet after that game.Also reports of one of the fans that was threatened after that game,AGAIN being singled out by Abbey fans at the bank holiday final.

 

Those without sin....and all that.

 

Really ,don't get into a slanging match.

Don't you worry Clocky - we'll be there. Some of us have already supported your cause. Me and the kids visited you last season (I think you were playing Brentwood). I was impressed by the standard of the pitch, and he bar prices were good too!

They say the truth hurts.

You started this "slagging match" and you should know by now that I WILL give as good as I get.

Coming back to your previous arguement about not liking ETFC because they 'almost destoyed Enfield FC'. I think you're forgetting that you never went to an Enfield fc game for 10 years BEFORE the spilt. Reason ?? Because you had fell out with the certain members of the board at EFC and most of the fans (who all now happen to be at ETFC).So don't give me all that crap about you only started disliking ETFC because of our behaviour.

Oh you never fail to disappoint... I was wondering how long it would be before you decided to bring that up.

Ok fine... here, for the first time ever, is a history lesson...

(1) I did NOT fall out with ANYONE on the EFC board.

(2) 16 Years ago (1989), I got married and the number of games I went to tailed off... I had better things to do with my time!

(3) I still continued to go to the odd game so that the number of consecutive watching seasons would not be broken.

(4) When Sam was 4/5 we both started going on a regular basis. Sam was a mascot a number of times.
It was only then that I found out there was some sort of problem but NOT a single person ever spoke to me about it. All I ever got was snide comments, inuendo and abuse on these forums.

(5) Season 1998/99 : Cheshunt FC (Prog Editor)

(6) Season 1999/00 : Cheshunt FC (Prog Editor/Match Secretary)

(7) Season 2000/01 : Cheshunt FC (Prog Editor/Match Secretary)
In December Tom Loizou was appointed EFC Manager. I followed just after to set up the Official web site and be web master. Although I had heard all the rumours about you guys setting up, it was an opportunity that I grabbed with both hands. Less than a week later, a certain person - I will not mention any names as you know full well who it was suffice to say that they are not whiter than white - went spouting unfounded accusations to Lazarou... in fact, they were laughable, especially as the story changed on each conversation that was had!

(8) Season 2001/02 : Enfield FC Match Secretary
He who shall not be named, once again tried to cause problems for me because I was serving on the committee. Although, christ knows what it had to do with him as (a) he was at your club and (B) they were dismissed first time around. I became Secretary when keith Hughes passed away in November.

(9) Season 2002/03 : Enfield FC Secretary

(10) Season 2003/04 : Enfield FC Secretary.
Resigned in September once I had resolved the issue of Enfield being suspended from Ryman League games due the fact that trying to resolve the problems was impacting my job. Was invited to be Waltham Abbey Match Secretary and am enjoying it

I couldn't possibly "fall out with most of the fans" as there was only a very small group that I had anything to do with (and most of then went to my 18th birthday party) so I can only assume that's who you mean.

Sounds like you've had a rough time of it AM, or are you just a bit paranoid? As a newcomer here your CV doesn't interest me that much. Wouldn't an exchange of PM's be more appropriate for airing your personal grievances?

I have and, every once in a while, a few of them start to slag me off... usually when they have lost. Sorry my CV was not of much interest to you but I was trying to make a point of that I did not fall out with the board of EFC and, had I done so, would I then be involved with the Club if there was a problem.

Exchange of PM's would probably be better but, as I have said, NOT ONE person has been in any direct communication with me... all I get is inuendo and snide remarks from faceless individuals on this forum and, quite frankly, I am extreamly fed up with it now.

Anyway, enjoy the forums the banter is usually good natured.
