Bit of a Turnround!

I actually thought we were beginning to make a few friends last season, by being a welcoming club to visit and through our fantastic travelling support (although one or two @holes from Newport, Grays and The Muff might disagree). Having read some of the posts on here and other fora though, it looks like the old song will still be appropriate next season:

 

"We are Hornchurch,

We are Hornchurch,

No-one likes us,

We don't care......"

 

But we know the truth. We still have a team to follow, we will still be passionate fans, and we are a fantastic "familly" together. It is very rare in this day and age to take my kids somewhere where they can watch a bit of footie, play with the mates they've made and I don't have to worry. At the same time I can watch a game, have a laugh and sink a few beers. Quality!

 

Finally, to all supporters of ESL teams, you're all welcome at The Bridge and we look forward to visiting you. Just make sure the bar's well stocked and you've brought your ear defenders. Oh, and bring a sense of humour with you too!

It's amazing Kel how many of us have sung the same song. We all must feel persecuted. We always finished that song of with from nowhere. So thats one up for you ? Or is it us....?
