They have let him go mainly because the grade of football will be too much for him. Am Not having a go in so many words, but just stating both the obvious and the facts. Jimmy Ward may well have got something out of this, he may not, but its obvious that someone with more scope and more experience is needed for this uplift and credit to Jimmy Ward that he can see this.Tako will also be at a level that he will excel in.

Well that was not the reason i heard but still the logic in asumeing tako wouldnt meet the grade of footy in there new leuage is some what worring for the rams then as it meens the rest of there squad doesnt really measure up to much.

Sorry,that was only my opinion but it seems realistic and understandable. Am sure some of the team will aquit themselves well if they have some experiences players amongst them Then it will be a case of weedling out the Kent League side one-by-one and replacing, as time goes on, with those more experienced players.

Well for the rams sake i hope some there players do excel but i belive they would have been a stronger team with tako then without him.

[/color] i cant see the logic, mo was never one to put much effort in for the gate i know but there is no doubt about his skill or what level he can play at, which is beyond where he is now.

i dont think ramsgate will get the same quality of player for the money they pay.

Seems a strange one to me, Mo is effectively dropping down a league. Although Maidstone probably pay higher wages. He has a lot of ability but has never really made the most of it. Rams should sign Ian Pulman from Erith (they have been relegated to the Kent League).

Maybe Mo just doesn't fancy the additional travel. Or maybe it's just more money, Maidstone have splashed it about ever since they joined the KL in the hope of a swift ascent, but never getting a settled side together.

As I've said before Cray went from KL to play-offs in their first season so I'm not convinced there is a massive gap between the leagues, it's more about having a squad with more strength in depth to cover for unavailibilty.

Wardy has already signed two new experienced players and I suspect will sign more before August. I certainly think a new goalie is required.

Wasn't Mo the Rams' top scorer? So that's quite a loss. As for the travelling, Ryman One is all in the Home Counties. What's the longest trip – Fleet? He seems remarkably unambitious to me.

ward states just last week on the ramsgate offical site that he is not releasing any players, he goes on to state that he will be bringing in a couple more to add more depth to the team.
