What Cup Competitions are we in Next Season ?

Will we compete in the 'We never Play the Final Thameside Trophy" <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> and if we win the Thameside any chance of a Uefa Cup spot ?

Ps Unc if we win it, will give ya a monkey for the Trophy !

When do we enter the FA Cup ?

Whatever. The FA can stick their vase up their ****. We'll compete for it, but wo betide them if we win it! I'll personally insert it where it hurts most.

I can see the FA representitive now looking like he swallowed a wasp or 12!

As for the league, I predict a top 15 placing.

You should be okay. Just looked up AFC Telford (similar boat as your probably know) and they played in the Trophy and FA Cup this/last season, so as long as they FA are happy, and there is no reason for them not to be, you should be okay for the Vase and Cup.

Well if all else fails, there is always (take a deep breath), the ESL League Cup, Gordon Brasted Trophy, East Anglian Cup, Essex Senior Cup, Essex Thamesside Trophy, London Senior Cup, Eastern Floodlight League and no doubt a few millennium cups which only two teams enter and Waltham Abbey win at League ground every season...what joy! Especially when for some peculiar reason you get drawn against the same sides each season.

Re: The FA Cup - didn't AFC Wimbledon apply to enter too late, and thus couldn't get in? Could be wrong... but yes I think AFC Telford entered in their first season.

I assume AFC Hornchurch have already applied to enter the Vase and FA Cup though, as the list of teams having applied to enter the FA competitions is available already (see another's forum)

As a new club ie Romford in 1992, we were not allowed to enter the FA Cup for two seasons and the Vase for one season. I am presuming the rules are still the same, but still intrigued to know as to why AFC Telford were allowed in last/this season.

I've just had a look and see that Hornchurch are still on both the FA Cup and FA Trophy lists as are Spennymoor!!! so I presume they all still need a little fine tuning.

Glad to see that the Boro are featured in all their glory in Cup and Vase list.

Here's looking forward to a decent run in one or the other next season.
