Will there be an appeal

I think that HFC have got to appeal against this farcical decision.

 

Whether or not there is an appeal process, they owe it to both themselves and to their supporters to make the strongest possible protest.

daggsy look....we're all miffed and more but its been decided and we shall get on with it....there will be no expensive and time consuming appeal....

 

look at it this way...we have everything we had a year ago...we don't owe a penny to anyone but we are in a different league....

Agreed - is it the intention to stay in that league or to move back up?

 

One season in the ESL might be bareable, but when you look at teams like London APSA (lowest gate last season was ten), and Eton Manor (lowest gate was six), a second season in such a league is not one that many would relish.

 

A fair number of the teams in the Essex Intermediate League are in fact a good deal stronger than the majority of those in the ESL.

 

(And to anticipate a possible follow up question, the reason they cannot progress is due to the ground grading requirements).
