So 50p grounds and trains it is then....

Pointless gettin coaches to games as most of them are so close they're easily accessable via trains.

What are we gonna do about ground prices next season?

Last year when we were drew away to H&Parkstone in the FA CUP it was like £1 to get in and we're even lower than they were now!

Away teams'll be shocked to see £8 as they come through the turnstyles although I can't see away support being a problem, thinking about it!

Only your old friends Romford take many with them, most games you will see more people in the dug out than on the terrace supporting their team.

If you try to remind the grounds and teams that your visiting that you will bring more supporters than they normally see they just say your arrogant and have too big an opinion of yourself and miss a golden oppertunity to make a bit of extra money, but thats their problem.

Sorry and deepest sympathy, I was one of those Canvey supporters who came over to watch and offer a bit of support when you lost your sponsor, but I do not know anyway you can be helped now.

Words are worth [****!!****] all but good luck anyway, keep posting.

thanks MOB but we'll help ourselves...we have been severely dealt with but thats the reality and we have to get on with it...we still have our ground...our social club and restaurant and a great new manager and his team and players of quality who will stay....oh...and the best fans in NLF bar none...

we'll be back...stronger and wiser but we'll be back....and we'll enjoy it all along the way...

As a neutral looking in... I'm just curious about the opinions that AFC Hornchurch have been treated harshly. As a newly-formed club, what league were you expecting to be placed in and why?

Surely the ESL is the 'right' league and the 'right' decision. I know though, that you can point to the AFC Telford situation.

Whatever happens though, I really wish the new club good luck.

Harwich are in the Ridgeons Premier which is at the same level as the ESL.

I think so too, just wanted a Hornchurch fan's perspective I guess. Another argument would be that both (AFC) Hornchurch and (AFC) Telford have been demoted three divisions, but I still think AFC Telford should have started in the lowest possible league, like yourselves.

Anyway, good luck.

Fear not about the prices Monkey boy when you come to Romford we will do our upmost to extract every penny you have in your pocket <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> The amount of fans you/ll bring to a game has not been lost on me.
