I've always questioned the wisdom in playing pro teams pre-season. It's probably justified if it is a 'big' name and they bring their first team to Clarence Park and 4,000 people turn up, otherwise, what's the point in being given the run-around by Peterborough U19's (for example) in front of 200?

 

Hampton and Northwood will be good practice for t'lads, certainly no push-overs.
