I agree. The club must treat this like a last ditch attempt. The club has to be absolutely certain that the plans are up to spec. If they have any doubts at all, however small, add more information. Give the council no reason to send it back.

Sounds like another delaying tactic to me. Not so long ago there was this highways chap from Kent County Council on Radio Kent, talking about Westwood Cross, and saying that he favoured a wait and see approach to that development, as he was not of the opinion that traffic flows would be adversely affected, as shoppers kept different hours to people going to work!

I remember thinking at the time that, if a development that big did not warrant a big traffic impact survey debate, why there should be such an insistence on ours.

Before anyone gets too excited, is anyone certain whether the traffic impact survey relates to the ground reinstatment or the full comercial development.

Personaly i would have thought the later, and whilst the sooner the latter gets sorted the better,it should not impact upon the ground reinstatement.

If the TIS relates to the ground reinstatement i would have thought it is simply a condition that needs to be released (by doing a TIS ) before the ground effectively can be used.

There are normally loads of conditions related to any planning applic. that need to be fulfilled prior to completion.

I would not have thought a TIS is a particularly big obstacle in the scheme of things and there will be alot more of this sort of stuff.

I really think we should not get too excited about the priphary issues and let the project manager get on with it(whoever that might be ).

The next thing will be a tree survey to ensure that no trrees are mysteriously chopped down.

Mind you a bit of non league football would help to take our minds off things.

We all try and be 'Ron Managers' during the football season, now we are all being 'Ron Builders' and 'Ron Architects'

Given that you dont have a name anonymous, what makes you think I can be bothered to rise to your pathetic comment?

According to you I am wrong...if Im wrong you want the Club to ignore things which might actually be quite important. Therefore you are saying the plans shouldnt be too good to refuse.
