Middlesex Millennium Cup Final

Recommended Posts

We wish Waltham Abbey the very best of luck as they compete against Ruislip Manor in this " one - off" competition on Thursday ( 7.45pm Griffin Park, Brentford ) night in this last game of the season for an ESL club. The team have been an inspiration in the League this season especially in Cup competitions under the very able leadership of Pinnacle and three others to mention are John Hickman, ever-present all season, in goal, League leading goalscorer, Billy Holland and my " young player of the year " Harry Elmes. There we are - hope I have whetted your appetite , come and join " us " ( I can ditch my neutrality for a night ) at Brentford and cheer on the Abbey... and its the first time that Mrs LC will be seen to be blatantly supporting a team in Green and White Hoops !

That will leave just one more game of note for an " Essex" club - go for it Grays Athletic, on Sunday !

Any chance of a lift back round the North Circular?

There's a pub on each corner of the ground. I know nothing about any of them. Anyone got any views on which one to try?

Best ask Father Jack for the first one!.
As for the Pub, the answer is all of them!!!!.

cheers for all the good wishes. we will certainly be looking to go out with a bang and make it wafc's best season ever. it will be great that some of you will be coming along to watch.

some bad news in that we will be without billy h as we were in our last final. we can certainly play without him but its a shame that a player who has worked so hard is not going to get the chance to play. even worse than that is i cant drink after the game because of my operation on my knee is now friday morning! how is that for luck.

anyway wont be on here for a while now due to operation and holiday so thanks to everyone on here for a very exciting season and some good laughs.

lastly to everyone connected to wafc (especially the players), cheers its been a pleasure and we have some great memories.

Chalky we lost 3-1 but they were s**t. Our physio wasn't allowed access to the treatment room, our board wasn't given any hospitality neither were the players, the officials were so bias it was disgraceful and they ended up sending 3 of our players off. Please do me a favour and beat them!!!
