Three Day European City Break In September

Recommended Posts

bit ike canvey but without the sea wall..

rome must be the ultimate tourist hell hole by now..

head off the beaten track a bit .. or if you have to go mainstream

stick to paris, its close, you can go by train and you cant really go wrong ...

speaking of off the beaten track it was my wedding anniversary earlier this month and i am off to vegas on thursday..

which is very much mainstream and the ultimate in touristy

I was thinking Prauge as well, it's a beautiful city but is now infested with stag weekends and the english looking for sex, likewise the reason I didn't meantion Amsterdam, which is also an ace city.

Forgot about Spain, Barcalona has loads to do but Madrid wasn't as nice.

Estonia is meant to be ace as well. But thinking of just you and the missus I'd still say Lisbon, it's where I'd take another half I think.

Barcelona is pretty good. As Thorns said plenty to do and a very beautiful city.

Milan is OK but bloody expensive!!!

Copenhagen and Oslo sound interesting!

Hi Zeal!

I wasn't in Budapest for very long (one day and one night!), but it was a very beautiful city and you can get great value for your money over there. In Hungary, you would probably be a millionaire!. As far as I can remember, the locals didn't really speak much English, but they will make an effort (unlike the French!)

Failing that, you could always come to Edinburgh! Me and my friends will show you a good time, <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> !
