Work on the ground.

Does anyone have any knowledge when the grant we applied for to fund the building work will be approved, and will we have enough time to complete the refurbishment of the Northfleet end before the start of the season?

Less than 3 months to go and counting, I reckon time is getting bit tight to finalise the work in time.

Someone told me that work is going on down there but didn't say exactly what.

Hasn't 50/50 Harry got Internet access? I'm sure he could tell us. Always seems to be down the ground whenever I'm passing.

 

Not sure if the angle of sight is good enough for long enough, but I'll sit on that side & see if anything is visible from the train this evening.

Further to above, angle of sight not good & train going at the speed of sound. (Yes, it happens sometimes.) Did see some suits & traksuits walking about on the pitch though - presumably the ground was used for a cup final this evening?

 

I'm sure Mr Safety Man (Chris Baker?) knows if work has started on the Plough End yet.

I drove past earlier and could have gone in under the auspices of club shop business and looked but I prefer to guess/make up what is happening.
