Playing it straight was fantastic viewing. Could'nt believe it was only a game show at the end as it was so dramatic. I'd worked out most of them really well until the last show when I was wrong on all three counts. Ben seemed such a geezer-still a good bloke though. And that guitar player with his silly songs-top stuff.

Danny K and Danny B were really cool, Marco was an ar5e, Jonny was cool, and I couldn't believe Alex was gay. I had Ben sussed though. He was too straight. Just a shame Zoe couldn't see through it too.

 

The papers reckon that "celebrity" love island will be off the air by day 12, because of falling viewer ratings.

Paul Danan was quite funny. I caught the last 5 minutes of him ranting on about Isabella. I was up the pub watching the football before that.

 

I might tune in to Big Brother, just to see what they have done to the house. 11 weeks of nobodies, now that I can't put up with!!!!!!

I hear the love island thing is doing VERY badly. Perhaps this is what we need. A summer of celebrity and reality tv failures. And then they'll stop.

 

Obviously we'll need to replace the shows with something else, so we can get back the old school celebrities like Timmy Mallett, Brian Cant, Jim Bowen and Derek Griffiths!

I saw an old episode of "Celebrity Squares" on Challenge TV last night.

The calibre of celebrity was high class - Bob Carolgees, Roy Walker, Henry Kelly, Jim Bowen, all 3 women from Birds of a Feather, Gordon Burns from Krypton Factor, a Chippendale, Jimmy Tarbuck and Rod Hull.

They're still reeling from the shock that Celebrity Wrestling was 5h1t, and a complete and utter flop, and the fact that the second series of Hell's Kitchen didn't fare too well either.

 

One more could tip them over the edge!!! (which might actually be a good thing!!!!)

Another thing that really p155es me off is that p0xy advert for the crazy frog...!!! It's on every bleeding ad break and it's sooooo trashy...!! I mute the TV when the ads come on, and I fell personnaly violated every time it's dons my TV..!! That is getting really, really annoying. AND THEY'RE RELEASING IT AS A SINGLE SUPPOSEDLY. Why??????

 

Have you noticed, the BBC tend to stay out of this reality TV lark, and allow us the option of watching decent programs like New Tricks(Dennis Waterman, the man's a legend) and Life Isn't All Ha Ha Hee Hee instead of the crap that ITV and Five have to offer in "celebrity" love island and "the farm"?

I expect decent TV from the BBC, that's what I pay them for...!!!
Commercial TV sucks, full of useless crap that does not educate, or is anyway near as cultured as I'd like...!!
