Well said, that man! It's being repeated on Paramount Comedy 2 at the moment. But I think Al Murray's live show is better. The man's a genius. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Is this the one where the woman has to guess the straight guy? Is that what it's called? I saw a bit. A lot of these all now look the same. Late night E4 things.

 

There was the chained together thing, and the one where they shag a "celebrity" they all take place in someones flat somewhere.

Yep, Playing It Straight was about Zoe, a 20-something PA from Kent, who had to test out her gaydar. She had to work out which of the 10 guys (peter, pretesh, raphael, demetrius, danny b, danny k, alex, ben, jonny & george) were straight and which were gay. They brought in 2 others (marco and lee) half way through just to confuse her.

 

If she guessed right, and ended up picking a straight guy, they would both walk away with 50 grand. If she picked a gay guy (who had been PLAYING IT STRAIGHT), he would walk away with 100 grand and she would get nothing. In the end she picked Ben, a Builder from London, who turned out to be GAY.

 

He then gave her the 100 grand, and she gave him half of it back.

 

Fool around with.... on T4 was ridiculous though.

I can't be bothered with them.

 

Most of the shows I watch at the moment are either downloaded from abroad (Lost - best show on tv, Veronica Mars - not far behind), stuff from abroad on cable like ER, 24, west wing etc or repeats of old shows on ITV2 or UK Gold. They are showing Cracker on ITV2 at the moment (I think it's on tonight), top show. I also watch the odd soap.

 

I got bored with all the reality tv shows. It's gotten the same as it was about 8 or 9 years ago when they all started. You had that show with the dopey mare who couldn't drive and then all of a sudden there were 20 off the damn shows.

 

It's the celebrity ones that bother me though. Like that show where we get to watch Bet Lynch drive around India. What's the point??
