Moving to the country Tv Programme today

Recommended Posts

Flicking through the TV channels today and came across this TV programme. Not a programme I would normally watch but it happened to be featuring our very own club secretary Wayne Purser who is better knoown for doing all the announcing at Canvey.

It featured him and his family looking to move from Canvey to their dream place in the country.

Anyone else see it or know if Wayne and his family managed to buy their dream home eventually. The show ended with them finding their dream home in north Essex and they were still trying to sell their home in Canvey to be able to move.

No im still here!

Housing market went flat and houses at the top end weren't and still are'nt selling. Good fun doing the programme though and it was a top house (sorry Barn) wasn't it !!

It was quite surreal meeting new faces for the first time in boardrooms this year and them saying "have you moved yet" ?

I thought the wife was buying it?

I like her style, spend someone elses money and she gets a BARGAIN. Mum and Dad cant lose.

Seriously though, just tell them to send letter, cheque and photo to the admin office and they will be ready for picking up in July.

Not normally a programme I watch either, but as I was stuck at home with the Parents it caught my attention when the Canvey Ground came on.

The Barn was our first choice too - certainly had the "wow" factor - a beautiful building. Not so sure about the cottage with the low ceilings though!

Certainly would have been a good summer party venue. Could have held pre-season training on the football pitch that came with the Cottage aswell.Only problem would have been hving to walk on my knees around the house.
