Apparently they won't pay him enough money....I wonder if he's worth a look given our present lack of width...

George Borg's sidekick Gary Abbott is rumoured to be the new Leyton boss although I did see that Tony Choules has just left Hornchurch....

I think I've made this point before, but I'm always a bit dubious about players returning to former clubs... Never quite the same - Danny Kerrigan is an obvious recent example. Looks like a few high profile ex Blues will be on the move, Roy Essandoh has left Gravesend whilest rumour is that Martin Carthy will leave Grays after the Trophy final.

So far as wingers go, I would like to see somebody with serious pace brought in as I think that's something we lacked at times last season... we shall see.

Simon you make a good case and personally I wouldnt bring Mark G back but as far as I am concered one of the brothers deserve club leg status for the fight that they ahd at NL when playing for Aldersh*t. I would like to see Roy as far as I am concered he is a name player at NL and being at leicester uni and going to games to the odd city came when I choose to throw good money down a toilet he most defintely a name to Leicester. With the goals he has scored for G'end this season in conf nat how can you say he wouldnt not make a good addition to our squad but I doubt we could afford his wages as im sure unless he has fitness issues which as I have heard rumours G n N are going full time this most be the case unless he wants an absurd amount of money in which case he will go to Luton maybe as Mike Newell is someone who is more than prepeared to takje a a chance on rejects, Nl players etc as is Martin Allen at Bretnford and if he is to unfit I would take him but on a fincial point of view (quite rightly) one of the other name striker would havr to go probably Danny as he has injury problems and we need to keep Nath and cant see the rest making up the budget gap and is Dan not on a 2 year deal signed at end of last season which would mean depending on the wording of the contract he may want a tribunal if realesed as despite his ability I doubt a club will take him on due to his inuries with the amount of money he is probaly on according to a source of mine
