Why not try and market the new shirts around the local sports shops? They are cheaper than most you seee on sale!

But then will any of the local sports shops take them? Many of them are only interested in looking at the more nationwide shirts which they will sell more of and hence make more profit.

 

The ideal place would be in local sports shops which aren't large chain national shops. They would be much more likely to take them in and off our hands.

 

Aside from publicising the shirts more, is there anything which people would like to see in the shop which maybe isn't already?

How about t-shirts with the crest in the top left? Like the polo shirts but so the crest is embroided, not like the current polo shirts where the crest falls off every time! Also a new badge, no offence to graham, but the last one was c**p. How about using the crest they use on the website with the white background. Cheers

How about some T-Shirts with some fun things on as well - I just saw a girl in Maidenhead with one which said "So, let me talk you through the off-side rule again". I am sure we could run a small competition for (publishable) suggestions for them and they might appeal to people other than immediate supporters such as families and friends, to raise some extra cash. They could still be in Slough colours!

I an sure you can find a local shop that would sell the shirts on a consignment basis. (They pay when they make a sale) But how would you split the profit? What margin can you offer a shop?
