Yeah, well we had nothing to play for, so I wasn't really expecting great things from us - I actually thought we played OK compared to how we have been playing recently. It does show why we have been the lowest scoring club in the Prem though. We are never going to score many goals when playing with a lone striker. And just how crap is David Thompson? Wigan are welcome to him - why we didn't bring Tugay on at HT is beyond me.

 

I did think that your boys would have tried a little harder. When Defoe came on and you had 3 strikers playing, I was thinking - "here we go", but you didn't really trouble us much with that formation. ah well. The stewards were as friendly as ever - espeically the steward who was walking around with the Rovers scarf on - great guy!

We were poor. I was expecting a lot more from us too. Still - a vast improvement on recent seasons!!

After they beat West Ham in the play off final last season to get into the premiership via the backdoor. Would be ironic if we did exactly the same but unlikely after Saturday's result.

Same here, then you get both Norwich and Ipswitch battling out for promotion next year.

It's really annoying when rivals pass each other through the divisons up and down year after year.
