Yhowabouts the last 16 in the FA trophy? Isn't that the competition that matters at this level? Those recent happenings are no great shakes achievement wise, but respectable enough if your own club is unable to match 'em.

2001. Lost 3-2 to Telford (then of the conf.) if you're interested....

Yep we're equal on that score as well. Now being the honest Joe I am, our soft under-belly is the FA Cup. Numerous times in the 4th Qual round but never made it to the Ist round proper. Getting to the first round proper more often than not involves some good fortune ie avoiding big conference sides. eg Last season we were playing Exeter away in the Q4 while you were entertaining Flackwell Heath. I know who'd I'd have preferred.

Well at least I'm dispelling a few myths about Braintree along the way. I'm a bit like the non-league Roy Cropper always staunch if a bit humourless at times.

We've done the 4thQ 4 times in the last 5 seasons...

00/01 Hednesford (H) (Lost aet in a replay away)

01/02 Tiverton (H) (Lost)

02/03 Havant &W (a) (Lost with an appalling performance)

04/05 Flackwell (H) (Won)

Of those 4 Hednesford were a conf outfit at the time and we did well to take them all the way... Tiverton was a tough draw as they were going well at the time... Havant was a shocker by players and management and Flackwell were probably the easiest team in our section of the draw for that round!

All off topics anyways to continue have you lot in recent been on SSN with match highlights all though I was surprised at the lack of an interview with one N. Ruddock of Crays Hill I know the united factor and all that but it would have been for such a length or repeatedly so regularly if we had got thrashed which was a real possibility as they had a dodgy pen one of two across the two games saved by our gk after 3 mins. Also I believe it was the mail whos banner headline was BILLERICAY DO WHAT UNITED JUST COULDNT in an article going down the length of the page and across tow coloums. Also regardless of Exeters result we would have been featured to compare NL with OT cant seem to remember the media taking the piss out of the factilies at Yeadings ground I will leave someone else to provide a description of the whole or you can consult with the fanzone site ozbit as you havent seen their hole of a ground it makes canvey pre main stand look like a footballing mecca its truly awful. Also have Tree featured as a retuers top sports headline UNITED DRAW WITH EXETER BILLERICAY NEXT no didnt things so and I believe that retuers are the company that do everything on cnn we could have got a us supporters club going lol have Tree ever featured on retuers. Im sure the fact we were the better team contributed to the amount of coverage ECFC own fans were admitting this afterwards and some even apologising for spoiling our 15 mins of fame with the denial of a famous win. In 50 odd years time when I am an old man with liver n kidney problems and we play the tampa bay red devils in an FAC1st round qualifier after they have managed to pull themselves through the premlinary for their biggest game in years ill speak to younguns about when it was the biggest deal when we played a team that got a 0-0 draw the previous week against em wonder if theyd believe im saying with press cuttings END OF ANTI GLAZIER N TREE RANT

BACK ON TOPIC

If people bother to read my replies you will see that I have withdrawn the idea of charging dons fans more something I never intended to do as I would be fairly sure ti would be against league rules

I think its justified to charge extra say £1 to non fans i dont think this at all unreasonably I believe that Hincley did this over their Brentford game in the FAC but dropped the idea when it was shown on BBC

WE WILL get WHU, Millwall fans etc etc coming down for a fight cause AFC take [****!!****] loads away.

Did we not get some trouble with pompey chavs at Eastleigh personally I think the 'fan' who attacked Henty had nothing to do with EFC and was a pompey looking to kick something and bought a shirt at club shop on the day. Pompey chavs would be aware WE HAVE A REP not a particularly deserved one but due to Aldershot and even by their 'standards' having the game abandon for 10 mins whilst the cops n stewards sort of the situ.

This REP was known by a Shewsbury who freely admits hes a footy hooligan who wanted to find people who followed lower league clubs in the first few weeks. When he learned their was a Billericay fan where I am apparently his first words (not their at time hence apparently) great that’s that f******g inbred essex village full of chav scum who had a massive riot at an Aldersh*t game a few years back f******ing quality and they’ve like dead f*****ing close to look the lion firm n the icf they msut have f****ing quality barnies down their” only thing he knew about the club all he knew about the club par dougie young for someone im told does have a vast knowledge of lower league football. Done a shewbury to aldersht journey on aa route planner Distance 171.3 miles Time 2 hr 55 min all right they both have active hooligan elments but still so MILLWALL n WHU WILL ptich up in very small numbers admitaellly but enough to start something n AFC D among their will have a few idiots as do we Leyton incident on gk

We have had a few incidents at homers towards the end of the season and the coin incident earlier I am sure we are gaining a rep due to a moinoirty in the local area and I will honestly put my hand and say that I was involed in the incident V Leyton I pay my and I paid a lot to go to that game nearly over £30 return from Leicester so I will ahve my [****!!****] say if I spend all that time n money n see that n I acctually clapped the players as a team off until someone standing near me at the time said something along the lines of why are you clapping that load of [****!!****] and I was standing directly behind one of the stewards who stopped clapping and did so as well at the same time as I didnt partiucaly ant to casue an incident and said my bit to A player no prizes for guessing no differnt to a view expressed on here my a moderator no differnet to the view of another mod standing behind during the game so if use to choose to edit the mod team is being v hyper critcal not only on that level but on a flag baiting level as well that a mod was involved and if you keep this in an unedited form then fair play to the mod team

Oztit you have just confirmed what I have always thought you are nothing but a fraud who knows sweet fa about your beloved Boretree or you would have realised I was talkong about 3 cup games between Boretree and Billericay about 8 years ago which you won at NL in the second replay with a team hastily put together after your manager and several players walked out. All 3 had massive crowds of freindly people who enjoyed 3 great games. Now piss off back to bed and stop making stupid inane comments about translation. I thought true ozzies or ex pats in oz still spoke English. But then I forgot you always speak double dutch.

LOL very good I would have said two; is not the point of this board for those of you with a proper job to kill time at work surely reading n stringing together what I am going about. Gaz if you actually bother to do so you realise I have made some vaild points on the issue of need for police presence at that game and a response to the rant I was not given the oppourtiny to have after spending 5 hours of my life and 30 quid in getting home for that game

also find an email attachment about training for a job that as I student I need and cant be arsed to get a proper job as I currently buy and then sell books on amazon I want some sort of fixed regular income for activity like going to the Yeading game FAT, Exeter home and away and the Leyton game the only way I have been able to afford this and it has been a scrap and the only way I have afforded it is making over 300 profit on the books

A few years or eight years? make your mind up!

I couldn't give a toss what you think of me delboy. Whats clear is forum contributors who are incapable of getting a point across without reverting to abuse whilst cowering behind the anonymity of their computer has to be a complete saddo!

...er you may not know Delboy but we all do so he is only anonymous to you...and as you're in Australia, the same may be said for him when it comes to you, really...

Ahhhh the beauty of the internet...make concealed barbed comments, hoping that someone will bite, get the bite return and abuse, get snotty about the abuse and all this from the safety of the keyboard and (possibly) never meet... cuts both ways, ya know

You might take that tack Gazza, but I'll stay British to my boots. Fair play and courtesy at all times even when you're a million miles away. That doesn't mean that I don't make barbs about football clubs or peoples posts its all about respecting people however displeasurable their views or ideas may be. I expect you'll point out the times when my posts have become personal, they've normally been directed at you .

Interesting you mention that you know this delboy fella (Do you know Alf garnet as well?) I expect he's the perfick gentleman with his boss, his family and those he wants to keep in with and thats the whole point I'm making.

Looks like I’ve upset skippy, bloody good job.

He comes on here spouting off about this that and the other and yet he lives a nocturnal life thousands of miles away, another Johnny foreigner sticking their nose into our business. That Lachlan Macaquaries got a lot to answer for, I spose Skippy will have his plot soon.

How dare he insinuate violence and talk of West Ham, let me tell you, us West Ham have nothing to do with Millwall and its types. Thugs all of em.

Me mate told me a story about a young lad called P, used to play for Millwall he did, and one day one of his team mates, a bully of a player, says to him, I’m gonna get their best player sent off, so just watch me for a bit and when he starts throwing punches tell the ref.

P sees his team mate spit into the face of a player and when he swings a punch in retaliation, P has to tell the ref, coz his scared of his team mate see, and sure enough he gets him sent off, that’s the millwall type for yer, so don’t you talk to me about West Ham, they used to play beautiful flowing football, Bobby lifted the cup for Her Majesty.

No, I wouldn’t stand within punching distance cos you never know if some six fingered thug will spit in your face.

Roy cropper, National Service that’s what he needed, too many Roy Croppers if you ask me, it's all the Harold Wilson’s fault, he started this Nambi Pambi World we live in.

My views on WHU are heavily influenced by those of my uncle who ahs been a west ham season ticket holder who every season since he was in his teens despite having a dad who had no interested in football (I only get this from here say as he died before I was born). He has remained a season for over 40 years the only season he didn’t get a ticket is the prem relegation season when the prices were not cut and as a gesture of this anger towards this he choice not to renew his ticket probably has more to do with the rumour that allegedly the ground re-development was allegedly insured against the team being relagted if you take a leap here that team was stupidly good to go down Pardews appointment v. left field did the board not even say publicly he was not the man for the job and then a few weeks later appointment him as manager pieces the jigsaw together and you can come to a v. doddgy conclusion if you tak a significant leap. He bought a season ticket for the season just gone mostly due to the amount of money he spent going to the off game was way more than the cost of the ticket. He thinks WHU fans don’t exactly help their own rep ohh and he renewed these tickets after he was taken to the cleaners by his wife in a divorce settlement as far as im aware the settlement was over the fact she wanted kids he didn’t he then lost his job when midland bank where bought out my HSBC and he now scraps a living doing the occasional bit of finincail work with a few indipent comps but the work is drying up which means his finicail issues are mounting so as an econmomist he knows he shouldn’t be renewing that ticket yet as a fan he still does

I do offer apologies if my post made out that WHU are as made as Millwall as I do not think that
