So then. Suprisingly Eddie has said he will only be inviting 12 or 13 of the squad of 19 back over this weekend according to the Oserver. So hopefully the retained/released list should be announced then.

Think that's a fair assumption on the 13 from what we've seen Eddie do this season in terms of team selection. Will be interesting to hear if any decide to move on and more importantly, who we get in.

In my opinion Steer, Miller, Hakki and Allaway are all on their way. Cann and Kassim probably haven't shown enough to be kept on, while I've heard from various sources that Matt Murphy wants to be nearer his home in Northampton. The only other two (going by the 21 players who a) had made at least one appearance this season and those who finished the season at the club) Shepherd and Lovegrove are both judgement calls as Shep has been injured and could well do much better when given a run in the team, while Ian did well for the reserves and in his only first team game.

 

We'll have to wait and see but personally the 12 at the top and Shepherd would be my guess.
