Jeff Trice's history site reminds us of the day when Margate had to beat Bexley and Dover had to lose to Gloucester City for 'Gate to win the Southern League Div One title. Well we beat Bexley,in the rain, 4-1. Unfortunately, Dover beat Gloucester 7-0. At half-time over the tannoy at Hartsdown a voice said "at Crabble it's 3-0 to Dover" a gloom descended onver the Coffin End. However, both clubs were duly promoted unlike season 2004-5.

Enjoy the summer break. Can't wait for Leyton, Braintree et al <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/attentat.gif" alt="" />

Congratulations on getting a massive percentage of the vote in Finchley and Golders Green. Stand as a Monster Raving Looney next time - you might attract a few more votes! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
