Hope we have a retained list known before August or September or else we WILL have a bad start to the season. Bit like not having the pitch ready until December.????? Too bloody late then!

Seriously then, who can say? I think we are still held ransom by off-pitch matters which, until they get sorted, will keep things uncertain.

 

To have a retained list I think you would need to know what budget you had for next year, would you not?

 

I don't think we had one last year, did we? We just knew who had gone, and some of that news reached us before the end of the season. We have not heard of anyone going yet this year. Perhaps we will have to turn up at the first pre-season match and play spot-who-you-know again, Hope not.

I hope to be wrong, but as club is now being run by administrators, they will be making the decision.

 

I anticipate the administrators saying that all must be released and effectively we start again.

 

For yet another season, survival in this division would be my sole objective ,so gradually income builds up as we get bigger local crowds and confidence in the club abd thus sponsorship so that in 12 months time we can be looking seriously at the squad with a view towards a promotion push in 2006/7.

 

Not being negative but just realistic; when in my heart of hearts i want all of the current squad to be retained

At the presentation every player i asked wanted to stay, but they also want a stable income, which you can't begrudge them. Whether they stay or go you cannot question their loyalty after the season gone, and lets just cheer on whoever is proud enough to wear the blue of Margate, afterall, we're heading home!
