The new stuff is pretty good - just wish Noel would stop insisting on doing 3 or 4 songs per album. He ruins it.

 

Force of Nature, Little by Little and Sunday Morning Call are rubbish, as are his songs on the new album.

 

It's about time Noel was replaced with Johnny Marr.

Noel's quality in interviews, but his singing is atrocious, his guitar-playing is limited, and his songwriting has seen better days.

Have you heard the new album yet mate? Have only heard three songs so far.

Kind of agree that Noel really should stop singing his songs. Force of Nature was OK but Sunday Morning Call was dire and She is Love bloody irritating.

I've heard The Importance of Being Idle is supposed to be a quality song.

I think Liam is far more entertaining in interviews. His comments about Franz Ferdinand, Keane and Bloc Party in the NME were simply ace. It was great to see the various replies back in this week's NME.

I've got the new album on Promo, YELLOW. One of my mates who works in the media got it for me.

From what's been said, Turn Up the Sun, Guess God Thinks I'm Abel and Let There Be Love are the best songs on the album.

 

Has been some criticism of some of Noel's tracks especially Mucky Fingers. Most of the music magazines are raving about it. I will suspend comment until I've actually heard the album in its entirity.
