What I meant was they were in the premiership once. They were getting bigger gates in div 3 then the Gills were getting in div two.

 

All leagues are old money.

I take your point, but surely you could have come up with a better example than QPR ? I wouldn't call them a "massive" club ! Not bad....but not "massive".

Bigger then the Gills though. I see your point and I shouldn't have said massive but they were once a top flight club. I was listing reasons why other clubs have been relegated from div two then promoted again from div three.

Scally is looking for total financial support for the project

 

They are n the sort of debt mentioned above and some!

 

Scally has never put money into the Gills, purely loaned it to them. So, the only way he gets his money back is to either get the club to sell the ground and move to a new location or just call in his debt and thus bust it!

 

They are in serious trouble guys .......

 

It's the only reason Scally is looking so far afield as Ebsfleet - he wants his dosh asap

Clown. 1) Scally can't afford a new ground on his own. (2) Who on earth is going to lend money to a club whose chairman is a tool, and are on a steep decline into oblivion. That trap door is looming bigger and bigger for the caravan dwellers.
