The Capital League side finished the season on a high with a final game victory on a very dry Stag Meadow pitch.

 

Slough took the lead through Leigh Mason following a goal mouth scramble which was eventually prodded home.

 

Second goal for Slough came following a back post cross from Cann found the head of Hodges who planted his header firmly back across goal.

 

Boro pulled one back in the second half, but Slough confirmed the win late on as three players broke through a static Boro offside trap before Seyward (I think) finished off.

 

Slough line up was:

 

Adam Thompson, Adam Jasnikowski, Adam Paget, Ian Lovegrove, Adam Bradley, Danny Seyward, Lee Bowen, Leigh Mason, Ian Hodges, Johny Mason, Dan Cann

Milo Baumgart, Adam Kassim

I believe it was actually that Milo guy who scored the third although I may be wrong as I was too busy laughing at 'blue rinse' in goal.

could you help me, i was impressed with the keeper

(not blue rinse)but ours. He did'nt do much but he had presence and made a great save before they scored, and looked in contol the rest of the game. Where's he from, are we having him?

All I know is that his name is Adam Thompson and he's played one previous game for the reserves at Chesham in the 1-1 draw. Can't tell you anymore than that I'm afraid.

Topfun isn't Adam Thompson by any chance is it?! He looked ok but nothing like as assured as young Parky, in my opinion.
