jc
Well, this is how I see it: Paul Wilkerson: Disappointed, to be honest - although perhaps the fact that he would never want to go full-time had an effect. I'll never forget those superb displays of his in 2002/2003 - including 'that' save at Doncaster. Moussa Sidibe: Hardly a surprise. Never really impressed after the Stevenage game - although, admittedly, his status as an 'impact' player when brought on placed unfair levels of pressure on him. Nathan Bunce: Lacked pace, but obviously a fairly competent defender. A bit ambivalent about his departure, to be honest. Roy Essendoh: Hasn't delivered the goods for some time. Has been desperately unlucky at times though (e.g. the volley that bounced up over the bar against Morecambe), and I'm a little concerned that he's gone before Siggy. Still, there may well be more names to come, I suppose. Best of luck to all for the future - especially Wilko. I suppose, even if we disagree with some of the departures on the face of it, it's hard to be critical of Liam without knowing the full details behind it all. So I'll definitely reserve judgement in that respect for now.

Fleet til i die
I rate Wilko as a better keeper than Pullen
Matt (GNFC)
No shocks in there for me FF. With Wilko not being first choice we can get a cheaper backup in, even a loan signing if necessary should Pullen get injured. Essandoh and Sidibe no shocks and u need more than being a hard man to be a quality center half and if Bunce was full time pro quality Stevenage would not have released him in the first place. chris blanc
will they still be playing tonight?
Robbo
Can understand why them 4 have all been released but there are a few other names I would much rather have seen leave than the likes of Essandoh. Would much rather have Roy in the team than Siggy. I guess these won't be the only departures though?
Guest
Although Roy has not scored as many goals as we would have liked this season I still find it surperisng he has been released before that fat lazy frenchman Sigere, at least when Roy played you had effort, work rate, and committment as well as skill and ability. I hope that Liam Daish has someone else lined up and we will release Sigere shortly as he is clearly not good enough for Conference football
Fleetbabe
The only shock there was Roy, but I knew about that one last night. I would have thought that Siggy would have gone before him. He's a disappointing loss. Should think he would have faired better had they found him a better strike partner, no disrespect to Pinno & Manny. Bunce always lacked the pace, and Moussa was hardly a real surprise. As for Wilko, while Jamie is with us, he would have unfortunately always have been second best. No disrespect to him and the service he gave to the club, he's a great keeper. Looks like Liam & Alan will be doing a lot of work over the summer, with so many of the other clubs in this league releasing so many players. Lets hope he can bring in some good, talented players. FleetFanatic
So one assumes it's 'bye bye Pinnock' too. Unfit, lethargic, certainly not at the level required.

Let's get Perkins, Walshe and Owen back, all quality players.

He never worked hard, Roy covered much more ground during a game than siggy, he was just plain lazy, expecting the ball to be handed to him on a plate to complete a tap in. Never a conference standard player in my opinion. Agree we should bring back Walshe and Owen, but would need to see more of Perks before forming an opinion. We'll have to agree to differ about Sigere, his hard work IMO, included too much time running out wide, and restricting Drury. One thing I noticed about Perkins, was to be on top of his game he needed to be playing regularly, if he was in and out his form suffered. Obviously he'd need time to get back to his best
