At the risk of sounding like Mikefleet....

Is that a good enough reason?

I won't be suggesting who will stay and who won't, since I'm quite willing to admit I haven't a clue - especially with the likely mixture of full-time and part-time contracts to confuse things further.

But what I will say is that I'll be hugely disappointed if Jacko doesn't stay. If you been watching him intently recently, you'll have noticed that he really makes an effort to gee up the players during times of strife, and is an important reminder to our newer players of the desired spirit of this club. Most significantly, of course, his performances have improved markedly over the last few weeks.

Yes, but lets not hold onto players for pure centiment... We need hungry, selfless players to assist in driving the club forward, I rate Jacko, but I fear he is no longer 'good enough' to compete in this level of football..

Jacko to the 'New GNFC' will be like holding on to a old pair of shoes just because they were in fashion once upon a time..!

As stated earlier, I rate him, and he is a great fella off the pitch. Just can't see where he figures in the new team.. He has had less starts than released players, and total input is less than the aforementioned... Hope I'm wrong mate.

Well, for me, over the last few weeks, he's been in there on merit.
