The rumour is they will be dropping out of the Conference South and thereby saving Maidenhead. But it is only a rumour.

It's more than rumours. Sources are 'very close' to Hornchurch. They will be applying for voluntary relegation by the end of the week. Then it will be up to the Conference to decide how they make up the numbers, although precendent is to not relegate, which will keep us up.

Quote in response to the rumour from someone very close to Hornchurch:

"it isn't true but of course we still have the revenue to deal with and what with George refusing to withdraw his petition after telling the open creditors meeting that he would... things could go that way...

lets sit tight and let our advisors work out the best way forward for us all..."

Who knows it may happen but if it does you are very lucky bastards. You struggled all season and then plucked a manager and half a squad from an average Ryman Prem team. You deserve to go down.

Looks very like the non-denial denial from Uncle Urchin on th Hx message board.

Of course we deserve to go down, no-one is denying that.

Yaku misses a lot of games due to work commitments but to say he is leaving is only rumour.

But fact is Maidenhead as staying up and this must be Roger Gerbils worst nightmare

I wonder if Craig will stay. Him and Greeno had one hell of a falling out and although they have kissed and made up It could 'kick off' again!

That's only wishful thinking however and that for me was greeno's biggest mistake letting him leave for free. A class player who we've missed this season

which won't happen dumbass. To play at York Road next year not only would Slough have to cough up the £25k to Windsor for this years rent (under the terms of the contract we originally signed), but whatever rent the Scum to the west want. Now as anyone with half a brain knows, that's a retarded idea before you count in how much the York Road pitch resembles the Somme after a light drizzle.
