Players For Next Season

Having just read the 'Ryan Parsons' post I thought I would give an updates for next season.

 

I spoke to Dave Carroll last Thursday and he said that every player has been sked back to pre-season training and no one has left as yet.

 

He has a couple of players lined up but as is usual at this time of year didn't want to mention names.

 

As players come and go I will place and news on here and on the Official Web Site.

What is happening regarding replica shirts for next season?

Are you going to be cloak and dagger all close season and not give us any information or am I going to find it out from local press and word of mouth first.

Humpty perhaps 1, He wasn't online today. 2, He is trying to find out. 3, Let him have a break! He's been doing alot of hard work at the club ontop of his normal job and i bet his missus has got him under the thumb for at least a few weeks!

 

What exactly do you want to know Humpty? Who will sell them? Where will the money go? Will it be a new kit etc?

 

From what i remember the kit company don't make our current kit anymore so i'd guess a slight change will happen. Last i heard the shirts would be sold in the club shop and all money going towards the football club.

 

Of course this could all of changed!!

In answer to your question, yes a new kit is planned, but I was deliberately holding back because I didn't want another situation like last time when we announced it and it turned up in October.

 

We have no choice but to change it for two reasons:-

 

1) We have a new sponsor which is the main reason as all the shirts we have are already printed with the old one.

 

2) The design of shirt we currently have is no longer made by the manufacturers so even trying to replace them with the same is not an option.

 

These will be available in the club shop HOPEFULLY for the first home league game and MAYBE one of the home friendlies, if there is one.

 

We do not know the cost of the shirts, design or colouring so please don't ask.

 

As soon as I have anymore info I will let you know.
