It puts us in the Southern League (OH NO I HEAR WARREN CRY!!!)

I think it would mean a bit more travelling and could cause a few headaches for the end of season walk but I really can’t face going to Essex on another cold Tuesday evening.

Better crowds and nicer grounds...I'm Up for it!

The F.A is set to finalise the set up this Wednesday.

Yeah, or Merthyr on a cold Tuesday night !!

But our record in Essex is miserable and it would be an interesting adventure, something different from the norm. I'd look forward to it, on the whole!

The distances below are approximate and in walking terms you can usually reduce them by taking the most direct route as opposed to the fastest which will always be using motorways.

On this basis though there’s a 2 in 3 chance of getting a distance longer than the trek to Worthing! At least there should be some nice places to stay on the way to Tiverton!! Bring it on!!!!

Tiverton Town -164

Merthyr Tydfil -151

AFC Telford United -143

Halesowen Town -112

Mangotsfield United - 96

Gloucester City - 94

Bath City - 93

Team Bath - 93

Yate Town - 90

Rugby United - 86

Evesham United - 84

Chippenham Town - 78

Salisbury City - 78

Cirencester Town - 74

Banbury United - 63

Bedford Town - 59

Hitchin Town - 43

Aylesbury United - 27

Chesham United - 16

Maidenhead United - 6

Windsor & Eton - 3

On a different note, whilst losing the prospect of AFC Wimbledon in the Ryman, don't forget we'd gain AFC Telford who pull in as many as the Dons.

My understanding is that the line up predicted there could not possibly happen. Salisbury were switched from the Southern League last season and can't be asked to go back this year.

looking forward to some new grounds and NO M25 every other week! However you just know there will be some huge midweek trips in store with that lot

Sorry all, but I'd be delighted if we go into the Southern League.

Many more "local" matches for me, and not a 200 mile round trip whenever I can get to a match
