...early indications seem to favour the Gilpin's Bell in Fore Street. Judging by the map (a proper one and not the one on their web site) turn right out of Silver Street station into Fore Street and it's about 10 mins stroll down on the right. From noon onwards (2pm kick off).

Unless anyone comes up with a better suggestion then this will be the meet.

What is wrong with the Bricklayers just round the corner from the ground? Its also on route from WHL station.

Not particularly fussed myself, but thought if everyone could agree on a place then meet there. The nearer the ground might involve a few of the day-tripping Sudbury and Didcot lot, so this place that the Townies have suggested seems about right. As I said, don't give a monkeys myself.

The Gilpin in Fore Street seems to be the popular choice, despite Nut's aversion to Spoons' pubs. As I said earlier if anyone has any better ideas then please let us know. My party will be there about 12.15. I think a few Romford boys will be turning up.
