Hopefully won't see them play the mighty Sheff Wed as all being well they will win the playoffs, but knowing Sheff Wed, they'll find a way of cocking it up somehow !! But, just in case, I have booked the weekend off for the Final !! Cardiff here I come ( hopefully !!! )

You gotta say Gills took an impressive 4K+ to Forest. While relagation for them might help our cause somewhat you must feel sorry for the average Gills fan (who does`nt wanna move that is)

who probably has suffered as much as we have over the past 25 years. Can`t help thinking that they were always punching above their weight in the Championship & that it was only a matter of time they were down again. What a poor season for Kent clubs - Gills, Gate, Dover & Tonbridge all down!

Yes a very sad day for true Gills fans, there was about 4000 of us at Forest and it looked good until 5 mins to go, but as with Fleet, Gills cannot score and should have had this game secure, but really they have had so many chances to secure safety before the Forest game, they should have beaten Ipswich, Crewe and Cardiff at home but failed so you get what you deserve.

As for the comments on here, i understand them but as i have said many times the true Gills fans do not want to move to the Gravesend area, but as someone said on this thread it is Paul Scally who wants this, and going down may only put his plans back a year or so.

I hate to see any club in Kent struggle and feel for Margate, Dover and Tonbridge but many things change quickly in football.

Anyway that's it for the season it's all over, no other results matter will now enjoy the Tuesday evening and thank Andy Ford for the tremendous work he did for Fleet.

Don't Know about £1.5 million FB, Scally reckons £200.000, agree with you on one thing they will not fill Priestfield unless they find themselves in the top three come next April, all depends on what players stay, who comes in, what Manager comes in, will Stan stay, will Andy come back.

They need to bounce back quickly or else like Fleet fans the crowds will drop if the club struggle, the fans of North Kent have always been the same.
