I think Maldon's promotion might save us tho IW....If they include some of the Essex contingent in the SL it'll surely be your good selves, Heybridge and Maldon. George can bring his unique management style to a whole new set of opposition....

But then you'll get three Southern league clubs with Isthmian to the north west and south - precisely the sort of anomally they'll want to avoid.

 

Personally I reckon they'll go with the least number of changes possible, so Windsor and Slough will go into the Southern with the remaining current Isthmian Prem sides staying put.

Based on this, my predicted line up is:

 

AFC Wimbledon

Billericay Town

Braintree Town

Bromley

Chelmsford City

East Thurrock United

Fisher Athletic

Folkestone Invicta

Hampton & Richmond

Harrow Borough

Hendon

Heybridge Swifts

Leyton

Maldon Town

Margate

Northwood

Redbridge

Salisbury City

Staines Town

Walton & Hersham

Wealdstone

Worthing

 

The alternative is that Maidenhead, Slough and Windsor go into the Isthmian and the 3 clubs JL suggested go Southern, but the Maidenhead chairman seemed to think they would be going into the Southern...

Salisbury may well go into the Southern League. There's talk of King's Lynn going over to the Ryman.

Although I could never agree with Yellow on a point of principle, this is the one change I would make to Simon's prediction. After all, Kings Lynn is only up the road from Boretree, that'll be their Christmas game!!

Just something I saw on another's site. In fairness King's Lynn is nearer to the likes of Grantham and Stamford than Braintree.
