So where....

Recommended Posts

...and at what time is the meet next Saturday? Myself and my party(!) will be at WHL about 12.30 so somebody with a bit of local knowledge must know a decent boozer in the area.

Maybe it might be worth meeting somewhere a couple of stops away from the ground just to avoid the AFC Sudbury 'Not the Tractor' Boys and the Didcot Railtrack Crew.

Read slowly my befuddled friend...it doesn't work on my stupid PC. Is this the general meeting place for one and all then? I am sure I can find it. Listen if you can find Harrow Borough's entrance then you can find the Holy Grail (or any pub)!

I love the idea of a car park 67 minutes walk away, if you are going to walk that far you might as well leave the car at home.

Very explicit, but whoever made the map up must have been educated at the Mark Thatcher school of topography! How the hell is it:

Silver Street Railway Station 4 minute walk to the North West

White Hart Lane Railway Station [MAP] 5 minute walk to the South West?

It has to be at least 10 minutes walk to the NE from WHL and about 6 mins to the SSE from Silver Street.

They are probably all ex-cabbies. Just around the corner mate..yeah right!

Well at least it is not South London. Used to have palpatations every time I crossed the Thames when I worked in Southwark Street. Thank goodness we are on the right side of the stream now. Plus, better access for home and pubs that stay open late legally. The totty is superb, especially now that summer is coming!

So what you doing next Saturday, I presume you are boycotting it coz of the Tottenham thingy?

A bit busy next week anyway a money a bit tight as I'm looking for a job.

Wednesday night middlesex girls rep game at Hendon, Thursday AGM for Town ladies team where I hope to get voted out as Press officer (Seriously I enjoy the job and nobody standing against me), Friday Town sportsmans night, Sunday Sittingbourne Speedway and then monday darts so I might have a lazy day saturday or I might go to Gilpin for a drink.
