Two new players signed for Slough after last nights friendly. These players were:

Byron Bubb following his release from Hendon

Alvin Budd following his release from Bristol Rovers

Both players are expected to feature on Friday against Uxbridge.

Tring Town 0-2 Slough Town

Slough secured victory thanks to goals from Wade Falana and Tony Boot. Falana slotted home after being sent through in the first half and Boot added the second early on in the second half with a cool lobbed finish. Adrian Blake in the Slough goal was rarely called upon in a comfortable victory for Slough under the guidance of new reserve team manager Troy Townsend who has joined the club from Cheshunt, Steve Browne and Eddie Denton. Another positive for the Rebels was that all of the starting eleven bar Adrian Blake in goal were under the age of 22.

Anthony Howard was expected to play last night, but due to the bumpy nature of the pitch was decided not to be risked and was sent back to Slough to do some training with Kevin McGoldrick and other members of the first team squad.

Lineup: Adrian Blake, Paul Reed, Martin Beard, Liam Patrick, Rav Briach, Byron Bubb, Alvin Budd, Wade Falana, Tony Boot, Paul Ellis & one unknown.

I think you'll find the player is Alvin Bubb, Byron's brother, and we have signed him from Billericay.
