Not exactly friendlies to get excitied about but it is reassuring to see that the club is thinking ahead to pre-season rather than lying on its back waiting to die

Exactly. More will be added soon I'm sure, and there's still time for a 'glamour' friendly to be added. The season only finished six days ago after all!

Not finished yet for Eastleigh or Leyton. Good that the work is being done and there is nowt wrong with a run out against some of the local sides.

Significant by their absence I should think Andrew. As always it will be difficult to schedule games at the Stag particularly during pre-season when dates and opposition availability is limited.

Yes it most likely would be you've got a contract to stay at stag meadow for one more season!

 

It's common knowlage that Slough are looking at other grounds for when next season is over. After all Burnham and Beconsfeild have already turned you down.

 

I've heard you'll be at (Soup For) Marlow. However i'd personly like you to stay at the Slag for a few more seasons at a cheaper rent!

It would be cheaper for us to play almost anywhere provided that Mr Deaner is not negotiating the deal. I take it you have seen this "contract" then Woody?

Personally, I'd quite like to stay at Stag Meadow if we can't get our own ground and a long term arrangement at Wexham park is not an option.

 

£25k though is grossly overpriced, even more so when you take into account the revenue they earn across the bar and tea bar. That said, it's Martyn who did the deal and Martyn who's paid the money so it's up to him what he agrees to pay.
