Parliament Seats

Sure, Labour have won double the number of seats that Conservatives have, but surely this is something to do with the fact that towns like Sunderland, Barnsley and even St Helens are split into two or three different constituencies.

 

Whereas the southern 'Tory' towns just have one constituency and some (Harpenden/Hitchen, Hatfield/Welwyn etc.) are lumped together.

 

It's no wonder that Labour win the election when so many of these Northern towns are split.

 

I'm about to post a couple of pictures which prove my point, I think...

Isn't it about time the South became independent of the North? I vote we become two countries. England, and North England!

I'd expand on that an say lets draw a line around the South East. From up the west of Sussex, around Berks, Bucks, Herts then along the top of Essex. Keep all the other mongs out.

And nuke central London for a whole host of reasons.

Suits me. They can all fk off and join the "Eating fish and chips and beating up their wives" Party, and start their new country and we can live in Tory bliss in houses that aren't made of coal.

Houses can't be made of coal anymore, obviously if it was still mined a certain party may of done a lot better in the North!
