Ken I Dunno!! about strings, when I was at St Josephs infants I used to play the triangle, but I kept dropping it. So they relegated me and I became the one at the back with a yogurt carton filled with barley and I had to shake it during the quite bits during LA Cucaracha.

 

What about a yogurt carton section on the sea wall!!
